WHAT IS KAMBO?

Kambo is used by the indigenous tribes to eliminate Panema. Panema is a term for dark, heavy or negative energy. Such as bad luck, illness, depression, laziness or a lost / empty feeling. Kambo is a secretion of one of the largest Hylid frogs. The frog lives high in trees, in the wetlands of the Amazon. The scientific name of this frog is Phyllomedusa Bicolor. The frog is also called the "Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog". The males are about 9-10 cm and the females can grow to 11-12 cm. The back is bright green and their belly creamy white. They have dark spots on their chest, flank and legs.

The frog has few natural enemies and is still found in abundance in the rainforest areas of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, French Guiana, Suriname and Venezuela. The main threats the frog has at the moment is the possible destruction of their habitat.

HOW DOES A KAMBO SESSION GO?

During the session you will drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water. A series of small holes (ports) are made in the top thin layer of the skin. You can see this as small burns made with a kind of incense stick. The skin is then gently rubbed off to expose the underlying skin. The number and position of the gates varies from person to person. People who have had an organ transplant
People with an ulcer in the esophagus, inflammation of the esophagus (esophagitis), called Barrett's esophagus or cancer of the esophagus. Risk of Boerhaave syndrome: a tear in the esophagus that can be caused by violent vomiting.
Women who are pregnant or may be pregnant
Women using an IUD as a contraceptive (Kambo sees this as a “foreign substance” in the body and tries to expel it)
